What is an Empowerment Tribe?
A tribe is formed as I bring together a small groups of women who are all motivated to transform their health and help other women do the same. We connect on a regular basis to design specific, achievable action steps to increase their health and wellness.
Why are the Tribes so powerful?
The reality is, loneliness is an epidemic in our country today…
Our lives are busy, and time is precious. Even as we want more connection, it’s difficult to put in the time to form deep bonds and friendships as we juggle all of our daily demands. The U.S. Surgeon General issued a recent national health advisory reporting that social isolation and loneliness have the same effect on human health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day; this translates into a 15-year life span decrease! The fact is, all of us could use more care, connection, and support from others.
Add to that, science shows that connecting with others actually shifts our biochemistry and boosts our hormone health as women. The powerful hormone Oxytocin is released when we’re with others which literally lowers our stress (cortisol) hormone–and thus directly impacts our physiological health.
How does the Tribe work together?
Our group comes together live weekly or biweekly. Through the process, you’ll receive valuable health tools, unwavering support from me and women in your tribe as well as clear, actionable steps to elevate your health.
How does the health coaching program unfold for the Tribe?
While each action program is tailored to the group’s needs, each tap into three Wellness Power Pillars that represent the very foundation of our health:
Movement: addresses your physical health & exercise regimen
Nourishment: addresses your mindset and approach to food & nutrition
Neurohealth: addresses your brain & mental health
Research shows that while it typically takes 21 days to create a habit, it takes up to 90 days to truly integrate it as part of your lifestyle. Because of this, the minimum package I offer is 12 sessions, and recommend that you commit to longer to receive the transformative health benefit.
